Day 26 0f 30 - Midges

Midges in my eyes, blinding me
Midges up your nose makes you sneeze
When swallowed they don't taste very good
They come by the bucketful in early summer
By mid-summer they are all gone
When they are here, they blacken the sky
Making it hard to enjoy the weather outside
Stay away from warm, wet places
That is where they hide.

Midges: Midge, name given to several groups of small, slender-bodied FLIES. In Canada, nonbiting midges (chironomids), biting midges (ceratopogonids) and gall midges (cecidomyiids) are most important.
